Our review below aims to uncover whether Vaillant rivals the likes of Worcester Bosch, Ideal Heating and more.
When comparing Vaillant boiler prices against the likes of Worcester Bosch (a 30kW with a 10-year warranty), Vaillant is typically £100-£200 cheaper. And that also translates into an overall installation cost that’s cheaper too!
To determine if Vaillant boilers are any good, it's worth jumping over to Trustpilot. There you'll see over 20,000 reviews, with 78% of those reviews being 5 star; people like Vaillant!
Vaillant's offering is broad with a great range of combi, system and heat-only boilers on offer. Essentially, there's a boiler for almost every property in the 1-5 bedroom range.
And better still, many of their boilers come with up to a 10-year warranty. To get the maximum warranty possible, you'll need to use a "Vaillant Advance Installer".
All of the boiler installers at Dwellow are registered with Vaillant Advance.

To get a gauge of how competitive Vaillant’s boiler prices are, we’ll compare them to other leading brands.
Vaillant is one of the market leaders, producing some of the best and most reliable boilers.
Worcester is typically the most well known boiler brand, and in their range, they have the popular Greenstar 4000 30kW combi.
The 4000 30kW comes with up to 10-years warranty and is priced at £1,450-£1,550 on most online plumbing merchants. This doesn't include a flue, fittings, a boiler filter or installation costs.
The equivalent Vaillant unit would be the Vaillant ecoTEC plus 30kW, also coming with a 10-year guarantee.
Browsing boiler prices on the same merchants, the Vaillant ecoTEC plus tends to be offered at £1,350-£1,450. However, some of these offerings are "boiler packs" and come with a flue and thermostat.
Put simply, the Vaillant ecoTEC plus offers better value based on the above, than Worcester Bosch; expect to save £100-£200 by buying a Vaillant boiler.
So, we know from online plumbing merchants, Vaillant’s boiler prices are incredibly competitive. And, that’s going to translate directly into the overall cost of installation.
The base price for a Worcester Bosch equivalent will start at around £2,500.
Expect a comparative Vaillant combi, system or heat-only boiler to be around £100-£200 cheaper than a boiler from Worcester Bosch; somewhere in the £2,380-£2,480 range for a small combi.
However, there are variables that affect the overall cost of the installation.

Vaillant rivals market leaders such as Worcester Bosch, and control a big portion of the UK market.
But, if you've not heard of the Vaillant brand, how do you know if they're any good?
Typically, we'd always suggest checking out online reviews. There are plenty of places to check reviews including Google, FaceBook, Yell, Yelp and online installer networks.
However, the hub for online reviews is Trustpilot, and here is Vaillant’s rating:
As you can see, over 20,000 people have reviewed Vaillant so far, with the average rating sitting around 4 stars.
What's impressive here is the amount of people reviewing Vaillant as 5 star; 78%!
But online reviews aren’t everything. Another thing to focus on when determining if a boiler manufacturer is any good, is their warranty offering.
Small warranty of 2-years or less? There’s a good chance that the boiler brand’s product range isn’t particularly reliable, and they don’t want to foot the bill for repairs.
Vaillant? They have a range of combi, system and heat-only boilers (reviews below), with warranty offerings of up to 10-years.

Vaillant produces a range of combi, system and heat-only boilers (also known as open vent boilers).
Below we’ll review the different models in the Vaillant range, covering warranty, efficiency and more.
It’s worth noting that the warranty of most Vaillant boilers can be increased by using a Vaillant Advance Installer.
All of our boiler engineers are registered with Vaillant Advance, and you can see exactly what warranty you’ll get by using our clickable boiler installation tool here.
Vaillant's ecoTEC plus is a wall hung unit, available as a combi or system boiler.
The standard warranty on offer here is 5-years, which is sufficient. However, you'll be able to get 10 years when fitted by a Vaillant Advance Installer alongside a Boiler Protection Kit.
For the combi you'll have access to the following outputs: 26kW, 32kW, 36kW and 40kW.
The ecoTEC plus system boiler is available in: 10kW, 15kW, 20kW, 25kW, 30kW and 35kW.
Essentially, there's a boiler on offer for every small-large residential home.
With their IoniDetect tech and A-rating, your new Vaillant boiler will offer increased efficiency over your old boiler, as well as a reduction in energy bills.
For basic heating controls, you can combine the ecoTEC plus with the sensoROOM or sensoHOME thermostat. Or for those looking to integrate their boiler in their smart home, there's the myVAILLANT connect internet gateway.

Next, we've got one of the premium models in the Vaillant range; the ecoTEC exclusive.
Complete with Green iQ mark, you'll be getting ultimate energy efficiency, reducing gas consumption and ultimately, your energy bills. And that's thanks to power modulation; your boiler will only provide the exact amount of heat and hot water that you need.
The ecoTEC exclusive is better suited to medium-large properties. The outputs for the combi units are 35kW and 43kW, whilst the ecoTEC exclusive system boiler is available as a 27kW unit.
For those fitting a boiler under, next to or close to a bedroom, the Vaillant exclusive is an excellent choice. Thanks to its low noise when operating, it's got Quiet Mark approval; it's one of the quietest boilers on the market.
Standard warranty offered by Vaillant is 5-years, but that gets bumped to 8-years when using a Vaillant Advance Installer.
Looking for a compact Vaillant boiler? You'll want the ecoFIT pure; available as a combi, system or heat-only boiler.
All of the ecoFIT pure boilers are A-rated, with the combi being the most popular. Combi models are available as 25kW, 30kW or 35kW outputs.
The standard warranty is 2-years, which in our opinion, is not enough.
However, by using a Vaillant Advance Installer, alongside a Boiler Protection Kit, you'll see this bumped to a huge 10-years. That's up there with some of the longest warranties available in the UK boiler market.
Unlike many other boilers, the ecoFIT pure offers a rear flue option, so you have more options when it comes to where you can have it fitted.
We’ve covered this unit in more detail over in our review of the ecoFIT pure here.
Finally, we've got the ecoTEC pro, one of Vaillant's most popular wall-hung combi boilers.
Like many of Vaillant's newer offerings, the ecoTEC pro uses power modulation. Instead of working "flat out" every time you need heat or hot water, it will modulate power to the exact level you need. That's going to increase efficiency, decrease your energy bills, but also put the boiler under less strain; it'll last a lot longer!
Just like the other boilers on this list, the ecoTEC pro is A-rated. It comes with a free 2-year warranty. However, use a Vaillant Advance Installer and you'll see this warranty increase dramatically to 7-years.
If the ecoTEC pro sounds like the boiler for you, read our detailed ecoTEC pro boiler review here.
